Two more weeks of hell.

A PART OF ME can hardly believe that there’s only two more weeks left in the semester. And the other part is smacking the first half’s head while hollering: “You better be glad it’s ending!”

This semester was bad. Uber-bad. I think I can practically kiss my first-class honours good-bye.

Recently I’ve caught myself rationalising over not getting first-class. Would it be so bad? Is it worth killing myself over?

I’m 0.03 CAP points to my goal. But I think if my CAP drops this semester, I can very well stop wishing for first-class. After all, second-upper honours is really good already.

Maybe I’m just not first-class material. I can barely hold it together this semester with just two honours modules.

I really want this semester to end soon.

Yesterday I was at Orchard Road, and the Christmas decorations were going up already. Oh how I long for Christmas. It feels too early for it, but then again, it can never come too early for me.

If anyone up there is looking out for me, please just sustain me through the last two weeks, and steel my heart against the inevitable disappointment.◊
